God binds himself to people by promise. Six covenants — Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and the New — each one carrying the promise a little further, until it lands somewhere no tablet can crack.
The 6 sessions
Adam
The covenant nobody calls a covenant. A command, a consequence, and a garden that was always meant to spread.
Noah
A bow hung in the clouds, and it's pointed away from us. God promises to hold back what the world deserves.
Abraham
A promise made to one man about all nations — and when the covenant is cut, God walks between the pieces alone. Both halves of the oath are his.
Moses
Terms, tablets, and a mountain on fire. The first covenant with conditions attached — and the first one broken before the ink dried.
David
David wants to build God a house. God says no — and promises to build David one instead, out of descendants.
The New Covenant
Written somewhere no tablet can crack. Jeremiah promises it in exile; Jesus hands it round a table in a borrowed room.
